Who we are
To Whom Honor Is Due is more than the name of our company; it is the very heart of what we do. Our desire and mission are to honor and care for those who need assistance in making their lives as good as possible.
Cindie began To Whom Honor Is Due in 2004, and she and her team have served hundreds of people and their families in California’s Central Valley.
Cindie is a native of the Central Valley with over 35 years of experience working with seniors, caregivers, and disabled adults. She holds a graduate degree in gerontology from the University of Northern Colorado and and bachelors degree in Business Administration from California Lutheran University. She was a former licensed nursing home and residential care facility administrator. Early in her career, she served the senior population in several roles, including positions at the Agency on Aging, managing skilled nursing and home care services at a continuing care retirement community, and serving as executive director at an Alzheimer’s facility. She also taught in the Gerontology Program at Fresno State University for ten years. Cindie is certified as a care manager through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers and a certified licensed professional fiduciary (1421). She is a member of the Aging Life Care Association, Case Management Society of America, the National Guardian Association and the Professional Fiduciary Association of California.
She is also a certified trainer in the Positive Approach to Care, a program developed by Teepa Snow using strategies to help individuals living with dementia and cognitive impairment.
Cindie and her husband enjoy living on their 15 acres in rural Fresno County, caring for their almond orchard, fruit trees, and chickens. Their two children are attending college.

Michelle Gyle
Michelle Gyle is a social worker specializing in senior care since 2001 as a care manager. Born and raised in Fresno, she grew up in the country, participating in 4-H with her horses and pet duck. She graduated from Fresno State University with a bachelor's degree in social work and a minor in gerontology. Michelle also holds a Gerontological Specialist Certificate and is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers. She is a member of the Aging Life Care Association.
Michelle's job experience has solely been around serving our seniors, from working for an internal medicine physician, serving as the coordinator of the Reedley Senior Center, and working as a Care Manager at the Fresno Madera Area Agency on Aging.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two daughters up and down the Oregon coast or to Morro Bay and Los Osos for some vitamin sea. She also enjoys attending classic car shows, where she is a member of a local club, and serving with her family at her local church.
Karen Bazan
Karen is a seasoned care manager with over 30 years of experience serving Valley seniors and families. A native of Fresno, she has worked in a variety of settings including skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, private duty in-home care agencies, and was the clinical manager overseeing case management programs at the Fresno-Madera Area Agency on Aging for several years. She is a graduate of Fresno State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a certificate in victim services. She is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers, and a member of the Aging Life Care Association.
Karen has a passion for helping others navigate the healthcare world to establish the care and services needed for their loved ones. Karen and her husband and son enjoy vacations at the coast, and she loves participating in various church ministries, and succulent gardening.
Beth Ford
Beth has been serving seniors for approximately 25 years in the field of care management. Her primary focus has been in clinical physical rehabilitation settings, working with seniors who were recently hospitalized with a neurological or physical condition compromising their independence and quality of life. Her desire and extensive knowledge in assisting seniors and their families navigate the challenges of caring for a loved one is her passion. Beth is a graduate of the University of Iowa and holds a bachelor’s degree in recreational and leisure studies. She is a Certified Care Manager and a member of the Case Management Society of America.
